All You Need To Know About Robotics Engineering

If you have a passion for creating cool robotic equipment and have a penchant for computer programming and coding, then a robotics engineering course is the perfect career path for you. This course program helps students understand the nuances behind the functioning of robots and deals with the designing, building, and operation of robots.
An engineer specializing in robotics and automation would be able to research and analyze the need for automation and get involved in designing, assembling, and testing of a robot. Along with this, a robotics engineer would also be involved in the:

A. Coding and software development for robotics control
B. Evaluating prototypes to align with the changing technological demands
C. Review and approval of cost estimation and design calculations
D. Technical support for the developed robots
E. Training and Knowledge transfer
F. Research and Development

The robotics engineering syllabus has a combination of both electrical and mechanical subjects in its curriculum. On completion of the bachelor’s program, students can also pursue a master’s program to further specialize in this area.
Some of the specialized fields that a student can explore in robotics engineering in India are:

A. Micro Robotics
B. Bio-Cybernetics and Medical Robotics
C. Robot Manipulators
D. Motion Planning
E. Computational Geometry
F. Computer Integrated Manufacturing System
G. Robotic Automation and Control
